Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021

HALYO has designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints and concerns from users as required under Indian law.

If you have a complaint about:

  • Inappropriate or illegal content on HALYO
  • Violation of your rights (privacy, intellectual property, etc.)
  • Fraudulent listings or deceptive practices
  • Account suspension or listing rejection disputes
  • Subscription or payment issues
  • Any other concern regarding HALYO's services

Please email the Grievance Officer at halyobookings@gmail.com with the following information:

  1. Your full name and registered email address
  2. Description of the grievance with supporting details
  3. URL or listing ID if your complaint relates to specific content
  4. Any supporting screenshots or documents

As per the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021:

Within 24 hours

Resolution

Within 15 days

Content removal (if illegal)

Within 36 hours

Payment disputes

Within 7 business days

If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction within the timelines above, you may escalate to:

  • The Appellate Committee under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
  • The Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Cyber Crime Cell for matters involving illegal content (cybercrime.gov.in)

To report content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, or violates intellectual property rights, email the Grievance Officer with:

  • The exact URL of the content
  • Nature of the violation
  • Your contact details
Content that involves child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or national security threats will be actioned within 24 hours and reported to appropriate authorities.

Indian users have the following rights under applicable laws:

  • Right to access personal data held about you
  • Right to correction of inaccurate data
