The Team
Who is behind HALYO
HALYO was founded by Sandeep Gummadi, based in Visakhapatnam. The idea came from a clear observation: couples planning weddings in India had no reliable single source to discover and compare wedding venues and vendors — they were relying on scattered WhatsApp recommendations and word-of-mouth with no way to verify quality or pricing.
We started in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where we understand the scale, customs and logistics of Indian weddings deeply. Today HALYO operates across the country — from metropolitan cities to smaller towns — because the problem of fragmented, unverified wedding discovery is a national one.
Our operations team handles vendor onboarding and verification — reviewing each business before it goes live, confirming contact information, and ensuring listing quality stays high. Our product team continuously improves the platform based on how real couples and vendors use it.
We are a small, focused team. We do not have hundreds of employees or venture capital behind us. What we have is a clear mission and a commitment to keeping the platform honest, useful and free for couples — everywhere in India.
